We offer a complimentary 3D design service offering an end-to-end experience that takes your project from conception to completion. We begin with a thorough consultation to understand your vision and needs, followed by careful planning and design. From sourcing furniture, materials and accessories, to liaising with your contractors we oversee the installation of your project, ensuring a seamless transformation of your space.
Our designers help clients reimagine their spaces for better function and a fresh, updated look. We design kitchens, utilities, boot rooms, bedrooms, dressing rooms, home offices and living spaces.
Pricing varies widely because every project is unique. We can give you an initial range based on your space and scope, and that estimate becomes more precise as your design details take shape.
Costs depend on factors like the number and size of cabinets, door style, finish, any added storage accessories, type of work surfaces, appliances packages and any special requirements.
All of our products come with different price levels and these choices directly influence the overall investment.
Your designer will walk you through the options so you can choose styles and finishes that meet your goals while staying within budget.
The timeline depends on the scope. Projects involving wall removal or major layout changes take longer than simple cabinet replacements.
Your project begins with your designer. They’ll take measurements, review layout options, and develop the design. With smooth communication, most clients complete the design phase and are ready to order cabinets within 6–8 weeks. However, this can be a lot quicker than that depending on how quickly decisions are made.
After ordering, cabinet delivery typically takes between 6–12 weeks depending on the product and manufacturer.
Construction time varies. If your contractor is moving walls, windows, or utilities, much of that work can happen while you wait for cabinets. If you’re keeping the existing layout, installation is much faster.
We start with a showroom consultation, where we can explore displays, review style options and discuss your requirements. If you have architectural plans, be sure to bring these with you. If it is an existing space within your home, then after your consultation you can make an appointment for our designer to visit your home to see the space firsthand and take detailed measurements. Beginning at our showroom helps spark inspiration and gives you a chance to browse cabinetry, finishes, lighting, hardware, and more before we move onto the next steps.
Come prepared with as much information as possible. Clear direction helps keep the process moving.
It’s also useful to list what you like and dislike about your current space together with a wish list of what you would like in your new space. Designers appreciate inspiration images, whether from Instagram, Pinterest, or similar.
The more detail you provide upfront, the faster your designer can create a plan that aligns with your vision.
Platinum Interiors follows a simple, structured process for every project: -
- Inspiration: Visit our showroom and meet with a designer.
- Consultation: Share your goals, explore options, and define your style.
- Design: Either from a home visit or architectural plans we create a design tailored to your vision, space, and budget. The design phase typically includes a few showroom meetings to review and refine your layout.
- Finalise: Once finalised, you’ll sign your contract of sale, book your installation date if you know it and submit a 25% deposit so we can place your order. From there, we will provide full technical drawings and liaise with you or your contractors to support the installation as needed.
- Check Measure: All of our designs are subject to a full and final check measure before the order is signed off for manufacturing. This will take place approximately 3-5 weeks before the planned installation date.
- Delivery: Your second payment will be invoiced and due before delivery of the goods to your home.
- Installation: We offer a dry installation service with all our spaces. This does not include services such as plumbing, electrics, decoration or building work. To simplify the process, we can put you in touch with our preferred plumber and electrician who will quote independently and who work regularly on our projects and can liaise directly with us.
- Completion: When your space is fully installed and ready to enjoy, we’ll issue your final payment.
